He is an experienced Higher Courts Solicitor-Advocate, Duty Solicitor and accredited Police Stations Representative.
He has dealt with a range of criminal offences in both Magistrates and Crown court including theft, assault, rape, fraud and attempt murder.
Jas also oversees the firms Prison Law and Appeals Department.
He has been a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Accreditation Scheme since 2001 and regularly attends tribunal hearings for those detained under the Mental Health act.
Jas is the firms nominated Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) and complaints Director and will deal with all regulatory issues including Compliance, Client Care and any issues that may arise through the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Legal Aid Agency and Legal Ombudsman.
